Lithia Park, designed by the same designer as San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, is Ashland's crown jewel. The park has two duck ponds, a playground, miles of footpaths and trails. If you're spending time in Ashland, be sure to bring your camera and pack a lunch. This place is well worth an afternoon.

Miniature Golden Gate Park in little Ashland. We could walk from our B&B (the Chanticleer Inn) through the park and then have lunch downtown.

I've visited Ashland many times and Lithia Park is always a stop. The park provides a playground for the kids, a pond to feed the ducks and many walking paths along the creek (which you can wade in when it is hot). During the holidays, they've also had an ice skating rink. It's free and lovely; what's not to like?

This park was very pretty. It was not too busy either. If you like to run, there are plenty of trails too.

Well, I could go on and on. This park was designed by the same guy who designed Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. It's 96 acres and every bit of it is fantastic. There is a spot where small children can wade in the creek. There are steps and the creek bed is cement. It's a great place to wander... More

Strolled through part of the lower park at dusk. Saw some deer and that was pretty awesome. Park was well kept and felt safe to wander about.
