The Ambler Theater, built in 1928, is a modified Spanish design. It is a nonprofit community-owned theater with approximately 6,000 members. The theater seats 140 and 110 in 2 of the auditoriums. Renovations to the third auditorium were completed in 2007 and it seats 270. The theater features dolby digital sound, stadium seating, handicap access and hearing impaired services.

I had to go by for old time's sake. Right around the corner from where my grandmother lived. Ambler has changed a lot since my last visit. Becoming more modern but still has that old charm.

always great films, good coffee and popcorn. not too large. good eye viewing. kinda expensive, but a nice treat . they are the independent film place and the location right in ambler is easy and has lots of restaurants and bars for before or after....More

This seems to be the only place we go to see a film. They show great films, there is enough parking available to make it easy. Restaurants near by are all very good and work to get you out in time to make a show....More

Always interesting movies and other events. Prices are average; better if you are a member. Plenty of parking nearby too.
