After a recent day trip to Alpine Mountain I felt compelled to share my experience. My kids have been asking to try snowboarding for a couple of years. I did some research and came across Alpine. They advertised "No Wait" lift lines, friendly staff and...More

I understand it is under fairly new ownership. I found the people to be exceptional. I was screwed over by a theif named Sandy Olmstead (not sure on last name) she sold tickets through wallenpaupack school. She lied through her teeth about what was included...More

I had a good time, but overall I found this place to be average. The process to get your rental equipment is hectic. They seem to be under-staffed, making the lines long and the process one big mess. We took a lesson, which was fun,...More

Got to agree with another reviewer here: watch out if you have a snow pass or any sort of prepaid tickers. Since I had some, I decided to give Alpine Mountain a try on 3/21, right after a 3-6" snowstorm. Only to find that they...More

I went there with my son (10 yrs old) this last weekend and I was impressed. Based on some G2 that I got from regulars there and a patroller on the ski lift, the place is under new ownership and is trying to make a...More

It's not Kansas anymore, it's been completely restored under the loving stewardship of the new owners, and it is a better family ski destination now, than it ever was before!

This is a nice family ski resort. The rental equipment is fantastic( reasonably new/Rossignol). The staff are very helpful and friendly. I went with my two kids, enrolled the kids in the classes and tried skiing myself. I only used the "green" slope. The pros:...More
