Gorgeous...easy hike...super pretty and a loop hike.

Very pretty, clear and quiet. A nice couple hours max to do a good low level hike! Can be slippery behind the falls..wear good hikers, and bring water!

Stopped based on the great trip advisor reviews. They didn't fail us, this a gorgeous natural area. We were a bit sad our pets weren't with us, but after seeing the cliffs, I'm kinda glad they weren't. We keep them leashed, but still a scary thought. Hiked to the bottom, thought it would be really hard coming up, it was... More

This was a nice hike. We took our small dog. He didn't have any trouble. The trail was a little confusing because it splits close to the beginning and it isn't obvious which way you should go. You can go either way. You can walk behind the falls. Be careful - the rocks are very slippery. Our kids waded out... More

Hiking trails surround the gorge so bring your hiking shoes and a walking stick. The waterfall is about 60' high and you can follow the trails and walk under the falls. An exciting and memorable experience. Also remember it's easier going down than going back up. Allardt Tn. is also the home of The Great Giant Pumpkin Festival.

We went hiking after 5 days of rain. The falls were unbelievable! We saw so many smaller falls, too. Parts of the path were flooded, but there were ways around all of it. Passed one other couple. We're recent transplants to the area, and we'll definitely be back many, many more times

I hiked on a Monday. I didn't see anyone else my entire hike. I hiked down to the bottom of the falls. It's very wet and rocky. It's well worth the hike to the bottom of the falls.

Very pleasant 1mile walk thru the woods to the waterfall. You can walk down to the falls and under it. We were a little early in the year as far as the Rhododendrons had not blossomed out. Enjoyable afternoon in nature.

Terrific views of Northrup Falls with trail behind the falls. Be careful around the falls especially in winter weather. Nice trail loop and not too strenuous for a quick hike.

This was very hard to find. It is not well marked, in fact, had I not read that this place also goes by the name Northrup Falls, I don't know if we ever would have found it. We drove and drove and drove and decided to turn around at the next road which was called Northrup Falls. We decided to... More
