- Jill M63 contributionsBeautiful day visitThis place is a must do! It's a bit of a drive so plan accordingly with a DD or a scheduled ride share. The guided wine tasting should be reserved in advance. You can do the pour and go one but it's not as wonderful. Our server Jackson was knowledgeable and gave us lots of details about the wines. The food truck and dessert truck had yummies or you could bring your own. Definitely visit on a sunny weekend!Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 31 March 2024
- jondandamydHuntsville, Alabama5 contributionsArrington great, but please ditch the Jazz band.31May24. Husband/wife and another couple. This was our 2nd time visiting Arrington on a weekend night. A great place to hangout with friends on a nice night and listen to music. Only issue was the Jazz stage didn't play anything most of the night. They were on breaks more than performing. Glad the venue is so nice and accommodating but the Jazz band needs to be replaced. When they did play they weren't very good. Get a different genre of music......................Visited May 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 1 June 2024
- Bryn F2 contributionsGreat side during CMA FestOur party of four, including my wife and sister-in-law, visited Arrington Vineyards during CMA Fest 2024. The facility is magnificent with breathtaking views of Tennessee wine country. We attended a wine tasting at the tasting bar. You are greeted with a glass of wine and a bound book containing a number of curated lists of wine to choose from. Once you select your list, the bartender explains each wine as they pour it for you. If there is a variety on your selected list, they allow a substitution. All of the wines are available for purchase and you receive your wineglass as a souvenir. The wines served included whites, reds and roses of many varieties and sweetness categories. Some wines are from the vineyards’ own grapes while some include grapes from growers in Washington, Oregon and California. The wines ranged from good to excellent. Our group purchased two bottles - limited only by how much we could bring back to Canada. After the wine tasting, we stayed for lunch purchased from Simply Living Life. We had flatbreads, pimento grilled cheese and the pulled pork nachos. Everyone enjoyed their meal as we sat in the shade at one of the picnic tables. Our trip to Arrington Vineyards was one of the highlights of our trip to Nashville.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 11 June 2024
- HonestlyHonestlyMinneapolis, Minnesota46 contributionsNeed to think a bit more like a patronFriendly and helpful staff. Lovely high quality whites. It was a hot day (100 degrees) so we didn’t try reds. One thing that this vineyard could do to be more customer focused. Please provide ice/ice bucket purchase option. With restriction for one flight per person and thereafter requirement to buy full bottle vs by the glass, on a hot July day, disappointing as a tourist to buy a bottle that only stays cool for first glass.Visited July 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 4 July 2024
- Thomas D1 contributionFantasticChristina at the reserved wine tasting was awesome. She answered so many questions and was so helpful. She guided us to purchase many delicious wines at this winery. What a beautiful location on the week days! No competition for parking or a reservation to get into the wine tasting. But I can’t emphasize enough the value of Christina at the reserved wine tasting!Visited August 2024Travelled with familyWritten 5 August 2024
- C F148 contributionsBeautiful sprawling winery! We experienced a beautiful day at this winery. A shuttle took from the overflow parking area to the main refreshment area. Our driver was kind enough to take us on a mini tour of the grounds. We choose to hang in hillside area to listen to smooth jazz. Purchasing wine was quick-try the Frouse( wine slushee). We found a picnic table and settled for a relaxing afternoon.Visited August 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 12 August 2024

Today I met friends at the vineyard for live music and wine. When a summer storm popped up, we ran for safety indoors to avoid the lightening, but all the buildings were locked. The older guy that worked at the cheese hut said we weren't allowed in, even with masks, because of Covid- although we had been inside with greater numbers before the lightening and rain. So, we huddled together in groups of 10+ under the measley awnings and umbrellas, hoping to not be struck by lightning. The skimpy food selection and over priced wine, in addition to the dangerous lockout policy guarantees that I will never be back. And I will advise all my friends to avoid Arrington as well.

Need to bring back free wine tastings for wine club members, at least 1 or 2 per month. Tastings at half price are not a deal that make it worthwhile to be a member.
We used to visit regularly to do wine tasting and purchase wine, but rarely visit anymore. Wines are way overpriced for the quality.

This little tucked away piece of paradise is Nashville’s best kept secret. I’ve been to Napa, Sonoma, Italy, and many in between vineyards and there’s nothing quite like Arrington Vineyards. This gorgeous place has a barn with live bluegrass music playing during spring/summer/fall weekends, live music playing on the hillside seasonally, food trucks seasonally, and did I mention it’s FREE admission? That’s right...you can go to this place, park for free, listen to music for free, and pack your own picnic for free!! It’s totally family friendly but like anywhere they appreciate you keeping an eye on your children so everyone can enjoy their time. No outside alcohol is allowed understandably and the wine they offer is amazing!! They get some of their grapes from outside of TN but they do offer special tours of their wine making facilities as well as offer special events. I cannot emphasize how incredible this diamond in the rough is and be sure to try their Antebellum Red (aged in whiskey barrels for a special kick)! Awesome place for a day, happy hour, or even pre-dinner wine tasting!

When we stopped in we didn't realize there were two concerts scheduled that day, so we had to fight a big crowd. Couldn't get a wine tasting, so we just bought a couple of bottles. The grounds are very beautiful with picnic tables everywhere. Air cannons could be heard to scare off birds from the vineyards. Well worth the visit, but try to go on a less busy day.

This is a cute boutique vineyard nestled in the hills. And hills is what you need to be prepared for. The parking lot is at street level, so everything else is up hill. Be prepared to walk UP a lot of hill to any destination on the vineyard.
There is a great view of the rows of vines from the "lodge." You can order wine tasting flights at a counter. You get 4 different wines to taste, but they're in categories. You can't just pick any wine. White, Red, Sweet, etc. There is no food served, but there is a case of wine and meat packs and cracker packs available for purchase. Also bottles of wine are available but are 1/2 size and very high priced.
We had a sweet flight of wine which was very good. Blackberry, raspberry, reisling and honeysuckle. It comes with a little cup of crackers. We bought a meat and cheese pack to munch on while we tasted the wines.
It was busy and seating was limited in the lodge. We ended up sitting on a bench in a back corner and enjoying our wine.
The staff is very nice and helpful. If you intend to stay a while there are picnic tables all over the grounds. You can bring anything with you except outside alchohol.
All around a pleasant place to spend a long afternoon.

First time at this winery. Beautiful area and nice facility. Unfortunately weather turned cloudy n windy n in 40s. After spending 50+$ on wine n snacks asked if we could sit inside. Was told no… heater n fireplace available upstairs. Fireplace had embers smoldering… knee heater was on but ineffective. About a dozen other people there. Few left n sat in their car. We took an Uber so didn’t have that luxury. Needless to say we had a lousy experience and probably won’t come back. Owner or manager could have easily opened up the building to accommodate the customers

I found the location to be spectacular. The space inviting and memorable! I did not like not being able to choose my four tastings in my flight. I purchased the semi sweet and only really enjoyed two. It is a bit pricier than other wineries but I suppose the location lends itself to the cost. It is really lovely. Worth a stop. I can imagine the live entertainment on the hill with a crowd is absolutely unforgettable.

Very disappointed in my visit to Arrington vineyards. I have been there before and just loved it. We arrived this time and it was only about 50 degrees outside with the wind blowing at about 30mph. We ordered our flights and I asked if they had any indoor seating. We were informed there wasn't anything because they were doing wine club pick ups. They told us we could go out in front of the building and there were patio heaters. We went out of that building, passed a bunch of the tall patio heaters and went up the stairs and found they had about 5 little space heaters up there, which unless your seat was the one right in front of it, basically did nothing. My chair was the one right in front of the heater and I was still freezing. Why were the employees not setting up the tall patio heaters that actually keep people warm?? We were so mad, we drank our flights fast (so we didn't freeze) and left. Such a disappointment--this is no way to treat your customers.

First timers at Food Truck Friday at AV and overall good experience. Some tips: we arrived 30mins after opening (5pm opening) and all tables with shade were taken, I suggest bringing a canopy in case you do not snag a shaded table. Food truck lines were insane 1.5hours plus at both trucks, I suggest bringing your own food if you don’t want to stand in line forever. Music was fun, view was great. Overall a good time

Planning in visiting Arrington Vineyards in early October and looking forward to it. Wanted to know how they run their wine tasting? Do you have to make a reservation or is it first come first serve? What are the wine flights that they offer?

I will be visiting Arrington Vineyards next month and am really looking forward to it. I will be in TN for a few days and am hoping to visit some other vineyards/wineries in the area on other days. Are there others in the area that you would recommend visiting while on a trip to Arrington? Thank you! :)
Written 24 June 2020
Sorry that I can’t help you not being familiar with the area... I know there are more wineries but Arrington is supposedly the best. Our main purpose for being in the area was to visit Nashville and The District —that was pretty cool.
Written 24 June 2020
Do you mean like scheduled? I would contact the winery instead of a social site like this.

Hello. Does anyone have a rough idea of how much a cab/taxi would be from Capitol Hotel (5 min walk from broadway) to the vineyard? In $ preferably. We’ve hired a car for our holiday but of course won’t be able to drink any wine if we drive here. Thank you!

There are taxi fare finders online. Looks like roughly $61 one way. I would use An app called Lyft. It is less expensive. But, keep in mind this is a remote area. It took our Lyft about 20 minutes to get to us from Franklin,TN - about the same distance as your hotel.

Yes, it was raining when we went. There are plenty of indoor areas as well.
Written 22 April 2019
Yes they do. My son lives in the Nashville area and has seen them. I believe they do a benefit for a children’s hospital.
There are other concerts there as well.

Friday or Saturday ??? Which is best tune to go ?

I don’t check my TripAdvisor often so I apologize for just now answering your question. Friday is often less crowded but either day is fine. The place is great. Try the Scarlet!

We look forward to having you. We recommend either a rental car or contact a car service. Grand Avenue is a good one in town.
Cheers!
