My wife and I were travelling through Abilene and needed a break so we stopped at the Frontier Texas Museum. We are glad we did. Very interesting and well done. We loved the interaction and stories that were presented.

Tells the story of the native peoples and European settlement of Texas very well. Good usage of a/v tech. A well priced 90 minutes. However, younger children will be bored. Good for adults, teens, and middle schoolers who appreciate history. Everyone else, you'd probably be...More

Very interesting museum with a good variety of items to see. We learned a lot. The presentation using holographics was well done and fun too.

Have been there a number of times and and, it is very well done. Holograms were pretty new to me. They are fantastic. Very professional and unique. I especially enjoy the gunfight and also the stampede and weather production in the theater.

This museum is a fair depiction of the region and the city. The holographic exhibits are a unique way of telling multiple stories. I appreciated that there were several ways to lean the information and that if you missed it in the reading it was...More

Don't understand how holograms are made but the museum brings life to these western frontier people. A lot more interesting than reading about them in a book. Never really realized how mean the Comanche were. All fazes of the old west...very interesting. Well worth the...More

Visited with family. Kids range from 6 to 17. Everyone had a good time. Some of the displays were too close together and it was hard to hear one if the other was running. Glad we went but we wouldn't do it twice
