It was nice to finally visit this site that I have heard of nearly all my life. It was a windy cold winter day but still kinda cool to see this touristy spot. What was depressing that the slobs that decided they needed to buy a can of spray paint to leave their very temporary mark on this icon then discard the empty can of paint in the field. Spraying paint while others were just trying to get a picture. I got it spray on your Mark but carry the empty can back to the provided dumpster. People are such turds.…

We like quirky Americana but this...well it jumped the shark. The cars burned out some years ago so now what you have is some hunks of something sticking out of the ground with a continuous stream of people coming up, spray painting the hunks, taking a selfie and then throwing the paint can on the ground. The big pair of legs or the buried combines in Canyon were more interesting (and those were not very).…

Where else would you find a Cadallic graveyard but Amarillo Texas?!! Randomly right on the side of the interstate stands a series of buried cars randomly spray painted by those who feel the urge. Bright and quirky and worth a quick stop. Allow about 10 minutes to take a few shots and then you get to say that you are there! There are a lot of spray paint cans littered about which is disappointing. Why can people not take their trash with them? We were there in winter ant sunrise. There was a light dusting of snow on the ground which made for picture perfect scenes.…

Had a great time stopping to see the Cadillac Ranch. Very fun row of old caddies buried nose first in a field west of Amarillo, TX. As musicians, we enjoyed leaving the name of our band on one car for posterity (or until someone paints over it)! BYOP (bring your own paint)
