I live right next to River Legacy Park and I love it. You can visit the park anytime of the year. It's perfect for Playing with children & pets, exercising, a family barbecue, & walking the beautiful trails. It's an amazing park! If you visit Arlington it is definitely a must see!

River Legacy is my favorite park in the DFW area. It's a perfect place for parties, picnics, a quick run or walks with Fido or a fun game of frisbee with friends. Just be sure to keep a tight leash on Fido, because there are bobcats and other wildlife in the area. The bobcats don't bother you, but they could... More

Walk the park with our 15 year old granddaughter and grandparents and it was just perfect. This is an easy park to walk as it is flat and the path is wide. It is very peaceful. There is plenty of parking.

Took my grandsons to see the exhibit display inside the center. It was quite interesting with hands on activities and live animal viewing. Then the walk outside was quiet and peaceful as we walked the trails to view wildlife (squirrels, birds and turtles) and the plants. If you check they offer talks and live animal discussions. The Central Park of north Arlington. Beautiful to walk/bike/jog. In hot weather, there are trails sheltered by trees so you won't swelter. Lots of picnic areas, but get there early to reserve a spot. The Nature Center is a quick and informative visit and gives information about local plants and trees. Recommended.
