Perfect trail for a 3, 4, 5, or 7 mile walk, run or bikeride. Have been going here for years and always enjoy the trail. It's never too crowded.

Beautiful walking paths with different lengths are set out and they are all equally nice. You get a nice view of the city, can see turtles and birds, just experience it yourself when you're there.

Well maintained and nature friendly. Great spots along both sides. Also the hike and bike trails and kayak options make it Austin's best

Coming from Canada - the novelty of being able to SUP at the end of October is pretty high. Rented the paddle boards from SUP ATX and went on our way. I took great pleasure in seeing the city from a different perspective and getting in some exercise!

A wonderful piece of the Colorado river running right down the center of Austin. Super hike and bike trail around most of it. Many things to experience while walking it: at dusk, the Bats at Congress Ave., Zilker Park, statue of SRV, etc

The trip over the bridge is quick, but you can extend and expand your view by climbing the hill,(Courtyard Dr.)turning west on the north side of the bridge.

Town Lake was next to our hotel at the Holiday Inn Town Lake - From our room the water was just sparkling. The lake was full of activity with kayaks and paddleboards. However, I learned on our bat tour that no swimming is allowed in Town Lake! The hike and bike trails along the shore line are just beautiful as... More

Scheduled a kayak trip and were hesitant to go due to the weather. Overcast and rainy. It didn't rain and had that hot Texas sun been beating down on us for the trip, I would have been swimming more than kayaking!!
