This park has all sports activity you could ever dream of, swimming, soccer, baseball, softball, hiking trails running. kite festivals for all. Enjoy the sun and fun.

Lots to do and see at Zilker park. From hiking the trails, paying in Barton springs like SUP, kayaking, or just playing with your friends (and dogs) to beat the heat! Parking is awful so be prepared to search for awhile or go super early!

We parked for $5 at this park and walked to Lady Bird lake. There were lots of people playing football, catch, and soccer in the grass area of the park. There were couples having a picnic and sunbathers as well. There was a little green...More

This is a HUGE spring fed, limestone pool that is as clear as anything you may have seen in the Caribbean. This is a 3 acre oasis on a hot day. Water temperature is a refreshing 68-70 degrees. If you enter on the side without...More

Really beautiful, free park. Terrific place for young kids. The "Zilker Zephyr" small train ride is always enjoyable, especially for the little ones. There's a neat little museum right in the park too. Unfortunately the concession snack bar has horrible and overpriced food. Bringing a...More

A great place for a walk by the river in a bit of shade away from the strong sun. You can also pay to enter the fresh spring pool here too.

We had a very relaxing walk alongside the river, watching the people on their paddle boards and the turtles sunbathing.

I have been in Zilker Park a number of times after dark and have seen no reason to be concerned, however its a very large park near a big city, consequently I would advise all due caution
