We loved the venue! 100 years old and restored perfectly. Enjoyed the show and the staff was friendly.

Nice clean theatre. Seats were comfortable and plenty of leg room in the second row. One bathroom does NOT cut it.

Wife & I have been medium level financial supporters ($300-$400/yr per yr) + buying the show packages for a decade. Have always loved the venue and the shows. But the show "experience" has become so mediocre the last couple yrs we just cancelled our tkts for Spring and will probably just quit supporting the Theatre. Show attendees spend more time... More

An old theatre with a small period lobby. The decor was fitting for the period complete with heavy velvet drapes. The acoustics were great. The ushers and usherettes were truly good at there job. If you have a chance to go to this venue, you shouldn't regret it.

The Paramount is more than 100 years old, and in great shape, like a big jewel box. I love seeing shows there as the sound is awesome, and there are many really great seats. I also love having the bar before the show and at intermissions.

This place rocks! Over 100 years old and still is lovely. Great condition, cozy and comfortable. While your waiting for show to start your can think back to how grand this place must have been in the early days. Great venue and they have a large array of entertainment. We drove down from Fort Worth to see Aaron Neville and... More

I had the pleasure to see a show with Lisa Fisher and her excellent band in this gorgeous setting. The historic building, the interior accessories and decoration, her voice and the music were a perfect audiovisual and acoustic melange. Don't miss it, even if it's 'just' for a movie!

I am partial to the Paramount so I will try to be as unbiased as possible. I mostly come here for the summer classic films. The theater is one of the coolest (temperature) and coolest (historic) venues in Austin. For films, theater is open seating. Be sure to go up to the balcony to see the ceiling decorations even closer.... More

If you have a few hours to kill, get out of the heat and into the coolness (a sweater will come in handy, it is quite chilly in there) to take in the beauty of this landmark. The Paramount is featuring their Summer Classic Film Series and you'll be in for quite a treat! For $12 we saw a double... More

An interesting blend of styles greets the eye at the Paramount, built in 1915 as the Majestic. From 1915 to 1930 it hosted Vaudeville performers then renamed Paramount, it became a cinema. Threatened with demolition in the mid-1960s it was saved and carefully restored. Its been on the National Register of Historic Placers since June 23, 1976!
