Don't let the stairs intimidate you. You can make it up there. The views are nice, just not impressive. Felt nice up there though.

It never gets old. It's a personal challenge to get up the steps without pausing. It is well worth the lactic acid buildup when you see the expanse of Lke Austin and the hill country laid out before you.

One of the best place I have ever been. The view from the top is mesmarising you can sit there for hours and hours and will be relaxed. It is a very calm place.

Great scenic view of west Austin. It's gorgeous. We have been up here many times and it never gets old or ceasing to make one in awe.

Short hike to the top to see water view. Lots of stairs in the front or go up the side for the trail. Nice view at the top to see the water. Been there once, but was enough.

Much shorter than anticipated! Only took 5-10 minutes, so make sure you stop frequently on the way up and savor the view. It was pretty crowded and touristy, and the path was very open and rocky- so snakes weren't an issue as you may worry...More

The 106 steps are not as bad as expected. he view up and down and below are beautiful. The GPS seems off because to get here is to go through a residential area.A bus came up same road

You can see both the 360 Bridge and the City Skyline after hking up the steps to this iconic spot. For visitors this is a must see. Just be prepared with proper walking / hiking shoes and bring your camera!

Great view of the Colorado river and surrounding homes. It is too bad it's in a secluded neighborhood, I'm guessing the neighbors get sick of the traffic. Nice place to take a bagged lunch, relax and take a few photos.

It is not long at all, the hard part is the stairs but u can avoid that by going through the farther entrance . If u decide to take the stairs it might be like 5 to 8 min up.

I recommend a flat sidewalk around a park instead; but if you specifically want to make the climb for the views, I would recommend taking a friend to assist you.

Sandals are fine. Especially if you take the stairs.
