The people at the Austin Visitor Center were very helpful in suggesting areas of interest and helping us to set up a guided tour. The adjacent gift shop was also one of the best places for artifacts and affordable souvenirs of all types.

Went there to catch the trolley tour we'd signed up for. It was a nice clean building with some cute souvenirs. Some of the workers were so nice and helpful and some were just so-so.

We did not have a car however I did see street parking, at 10 a.m. on a Thursday it was all taken. We saw some parking lots nearby with all day prices.

Sorry, I was there in April. I agree with other comments, they should have a website or google events in Austin in October.
