OK so let me first say "my bad" for shopping here. I am not opposed to organic items but I am not one who seeks it out. We picked up some baked goods and fruit on this trip. The apples were really good, peaches did...More

We’re visiting in Austin and were taken to Central Market for dinner on Friday. We appreciated the music with the meal. (Our little granddaughter likes to dance after dinner.) The food itself (sandwiches) was quite good. My sweet potato fries were tasty but not very...More

Amazing store. Local told us about it.. Competes and beats Whole Foods in its home town. We visited 3 times to pick up things for the fridge and road, and ate dinner here with live music outside.

The cafe serves a purpose, but my tasteless burger and the burned salmon were terrible. We left hungry and we will not be back.

I had the pleasure of visiting this Central Market recently and it has changed from the original concept when it was built as the first one, in some ways good and in some ways not the best. For farmer's market quality fruits and vegetables, it...More

I stopped in today to see if there was something I would like for lunch. One of the specials was a shrimp poboy sandwich with fries and I ordered that. I would say that the fries were not very good or hot when I got...More

This is a great market but be ready to spend money and time. The store is enormous and getting around and finding certain departments is confusing. We don't live in Austin and we shopped there last night for diner. Great fruit/vegetable department and we were...More

I've been to various locations in Central Market in Texas, Dallas, Fort Worth and Southlake, more or less are all the same products themselves and the same prices, the convenient thing is that if you want you can even eat something after shopping.
