Central Market is a great place to shop - it has lots of variety of organic, healthy foods. We also enjoyed the Cafe - the burgers were great, the Asian bowl was a little too salty, the salads were delicious!

We go here occasionally and it is like being in a different world. That's a good thing. Wholesome, natural foods from fruits to nuts. What a place!

The one side has a cafeteria sort of food to eat. You order and then pick it up. A wide selection of iced teas. The other side has a small market including a variety of cheese, baked goods, and vegetables. Try the cookies...so soft and chewy.

I first shopped here back when in was in college when they first opened this location, and I love that it hasn't changed much since then. This is a great neighborhood grocery store with healthy and organic options. If I lived closer, I'd shop here all the time! We stopped in over the weekend on our way through town to... More

This is easy. In my humble opinion, it has the best fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and deli of any grocery store in Austin. Friendly people, clean and organized. Once you have been a frequent customer the people know your name and exactly how you like your items.

This is a place where you can spend the whole day shopping and eating. I have never seen such a wide variety and choice of items in any one market - from farm fresh produce to simple meals to gourmet wines and cheeses - you name it and most probably they have it. The staff is also very helpful -... More

The shopping is fun, the selections are overwhelming. My husband, myself and two kids (7 years) went to eat. The food was pretty bland. My boys ordered spaghetti and meatball and neither one liked it, and they are not picky. My sandwich was ok. My husband ordered some type of BBQ sandwich and wasn't pleased. It was about $50 for... This is the place to get food, beverages and go listen to music too! It was like a Whole Foods on steroids. The cheese section was as large as some corner stores. They seemed to carry just about everything. The layout is a little confusing, but it was great to have everything under one roof.

A great Austin home-grown landmark. Just visiting the store and walking the aisles is a grand experience. They have a mind-blowing selection of fresh produce that usually offers free samples of fresh squeezed juices. There is a huge selection of, wine and a 60' wall of every beer you've ever heard of and some you haven't. The entire grocery experience... More
