This is a great layout and design, one of the best resort courses in Texas. I have been playing here for 20 years and this was the biggest disappointment I have ever had at Barton Creek. First we could not get a time, booking 2...More

Great hill country course. Nice mixture of holes with elevation changes. Typical Fazio architectural elements. Some housing on perimeter but not intrusive and does not greatly impact naturalness.

The greens were sanded sadly but the course was in good condition. A real challenge for the not so straight hitters and some lovely holes. 18 is very nice finishing hole and several are very picturesque.

Excellent course with great views and challenging holes. The Pro shop was average. The course could have better signage when finishing 18 to lead you back to the correct pro shop.

The hardest of the four Barton Creek courses and the most varied. There so many postcard holes on The Foothills that it would be more simple to describe those that are not. Even the short par four on the back which does not look like...More

One of the best in Texas. Played it many times. Can be pricey as a resort guest. Get a special package online...worth the effort.

The country club members usually play this course instead of Palmer or Crenshaw. It's long from the tips, but reasonable from the other tees. Water, sand, canyons, forest all come into play. Number 10 from the tips is the equivalent of hitting off the top...More
