We decided to uber over from downtown after reading reviews about the parking. I would say that those reviews were pretty accurate. Parking looked sparse and difficult. Our driver dropped us at the top of the hill so we could meander downhill. We went into...More

THE PARKING !!!!!!!!!! We have a disabled permit and that meant nothing-there are only six spots that we even saw in the entire core area for disabled parking -Since we didn't have any luck with the disabled spots we joined the battle for the regular...More

I consider it POOR planning when you try to revitalize an area of town, get all those cool businesses to come and invent, and then provide NO PARKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It might be the coolest part of Austin, but WHO KNOWS! Only 30 people can visit at...More

Thoroughly enjoyed walking along SoCo and shopping in both expensive and inexpensive shops. Some thrift shops, some really nice boutiques. Cheap eats as well and fancy. Good destination.

Lively area with a wide variety of unique shops from art pieces to Mexican Day of the Dead merchandise to clothing and jewelry boutiques, many with reasonable prices. Restaurants range from pizza to Mexican to food trucks.

We love to come to SoCo on the weekends. The eclectic food, people and shopping offer a break from the boring work week. There is something for everyone to enjoy!

Very original boutiques. Don't miss Allen Boots for that western experience. Between that shop and the other boutiques and antique shops, we stocked up on gifts, cards, boots and sportswear. A few cafes/restaurants that make for a nice stop.

Walking distance around 2 miles roughly. Not many buses better off getting a cab, or walk
