First time ever visiting ATX and thought I'd check this spot out. There is a $12/person fee. Personally, it was a waste of time. This is more of a place for families with kids. I wouldn't recommend it for older adults...

The museum is a little small basically just a long hallway but it has some interesting things in it. A guy takes you to a converted garage and does some side show things that are a little gross but you can't turn away. I wouldn't...More

I don't mind weird, but the museum needs a good cleaning. The Black Scorpion was kinda funny but we didn't appreciate the dig at Trump or the church/God comment. The staff in the store were super friendly. It's way overpriced.

This is a very small museum situated at the rear of the store. There are some fascinating displays and information some of which is very weird, some is old fashioned carnival style exhibits. The owner then shows a short video clip and then takes you...More

Quirky little location, perfect for anyone visiting the self-embraced 'Keep Austin Weird' Capitol of TX. We enjoyed the collection of things that challenge what you think you know. There's more than you think, with featured attraction, sideshow and wax museum collection.

What a find! This museum is one man's private collection. Lots of cool items in a tiny space. After looking and reading at our own pace (while the girls-age 7&9- freaked at the weird displays), we went on the back room tour of the Ice...More

Part of what makes Austin special is that it embraces strange and unique things. It's the reason Alamo Drafthouse will be packed out with hundreds of people every Tuesday night to watch a B movie. The Museum of the Weird is located on the famous...More

My wife and I took our grandkids to this "museum". It cost $50 for the five of us. The exhibits were very limited and not really very informative. We were also regaled with a super-weak "magic show" involving balloon animals for the little kids (single...More

$7 each for kids under 8. The site says senior discounts are available, but I am unsure of how substantial it is.
