Make sure you take water shoes and a change of clothes to leave in the car - you are not getting out of this place without kiddos getting wet in the warmer months! That said, I would stick to simply playing in the water as...More

We'd never been to the Park and Preserve before (the kids dragged us there to find a Pokémon Go nest!— no we didn't find a bunch of Pokémon!) The Park is beautiful, but in some ways it's sad. There were signs not to swim because...More

We enjoy visiting Bull Creek with a group of other moms and their toddlers. Nice walking trails and lots of nice areas to splash in and toss rocks. There are faster moving water areas that older children and adults enjoy. Lots of people take their...More

If you want to go swimming, park under 360 (not at 7601 Lakewood). It's a little hard to find. Really scenic and cool waterfalls. But no facilities whatsoever. So come prepared! Bring water and food. Very shallow water up on top of the waterfall good...More

The best spot to swim is just west side of 360, near where the creek crosses under the highway. There is parking nearby and lots of rocks to sun yourself and lounge on. Very hippy/dog friendly spot. Waterfalls and cool pools to take a dip....More

This nice park situated just off of 360 on the north side is split by its name sake, Bull creek which creates a running water feature for wading and generally getting wet. Also lots of big boulders around for kids to climb on.

One of Austin's best kept secrets is Bull Creek Park and the hiking trails leading from it, stretch for miles alongside the shores of Bull Creek. Come in the morning, when it's still cool, park your car under the shade of the trees, and then...More

My husband, friends and I have enjoyed walking along Bull Creek for years. Normally, the creek not crowded and there is enough parking. The creek runs along Loop 360 so the area is not quiet but is pretty. Many people bring their dogs. There are...More

Where we went, there was no cost, there is a very small parking area off the side of the road and a trail that leads back.
