During the day it's families and play and wholesomeness. At night it is encounters and secrets and darkness in the sky and of the soul.

2nd time taking 12/14 year olds, each with a friend. Look for a Groupon sometime during the summer - family 4 pack. It's small enough that I find a couple chairs and park there and they are old enough to navigate in pairs. The tickets can include just the waterpark or the mini-golf and batting cage (must wear shoes not... More

Cameron Run Regional Park is a unique and fun place to spend the day. The park is located in Alexandria, off Eisenhower Ave (north of 495). Take Exit 174 onto the Eisenhower Avenue Connector and then veer right onto Eisenhower Ave. The park is about a quarter mile down Eisenhower on the left. The park is a cornucopia of attractions... We came on a Sunday just after school finished for the year. I was surprised at how quiet it was also quite overcast with storms expected so that may have kept people away. Unfortunately their internet was down on the day so luckily we had cash as they couldn't take any eftpos payments at the gate or the snack shop.... More

Ok, for kids. I went with my disabled daughter and could not take her into the deep end because she cannot swim - ok. Then I noticed the lifeguards always move their heads like robots - they said it is "required". Later a little girl got her finger stuck in a fence. I could leave my daughter to go to... More

Good fun with swings and slides. As a kid or a midget, enjoy! As an adult, prepare to deal with bugs and skunks. It is not pastoral, but it is not always user-friendly.

I have been coming to this pool for the last 15 years or so with various grand kids. It is always a good time, It is nearby and the admission is reasonable. What could be more fun than floating on tubes while the waves are rolling and going down those curvy slides? But I do have a few complaints. The facility... More

We really enjoyed the water park. Reasonable close, easy to get to and affordable. The wave pool was the kids ( ages 6&5) favorite. Snacks weren't outrageously expensive. Lots of longer sand chairs.
