This fort is located in Arlington, VA and is the home of the Army guards of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers. You must show identification to enter the fort. It is a well guarded fort since 911 and you must be respectful while visiting.

I was stationed at Ft. Myer in the mid 90's. It is a beautiful base with a lot of history. Security is tight so you just can't drive in. We were able to see the regimental ceremony and monument dedication. Everyone was friendly and professional.

We attended a wedding reception there, so we had reservations. We filled out a form for a background check prior to going, and then we just needed one photo ID to verify who we were when we went in.
