Worth Seeing if You're in Arlington

We really enjoyed this museum. It's relatively small, but packed with interesting stuff. Oddly, it's housed in the ground floor of a large office building. It's free to... read more

Right across from the pentagon is a little known museum at the DEA offices. Detailing the history of drug use in the United States, it is an interesting and educational museum to visit.

This is a great museum with a wealth of information. The gift shop has a lot of cool items for sale. You have to park in the garage across the street but it's only a dollar or two depending on how long you stay. They have some very cool displays inside.

Lots of interesting information about the DEA. Allows substantial time to visit as there is lots to see and read. It is only open from 12-4 PM on Tuesday through Friday so plan accordingly. There is also a gift shop with lots of interesting things to buy. Just be sure you visit it at least 30 minutes before closing as... More

We really enjoyed this museum. It's relatively small, but packed with interesting stuff. Oddly, it's housed in the ground floor of a large office building. It's free to enter. I would say it s a "must see" if you're staying in Arlington as we were. The museum has lots of interesting history, paraphernalia, propaganda and information/artifacts from famous drug-bust cases.... More

If you want to understand how drugs have impacted the world over the centuries this is a must see. If you have an interest in drug law enforcement this museum is a must.

A nice small museum. Very informational. Not crowded. (We shareed the museum with about 4 other people.) Give yourself about one hour to finish the museum. That includes reading most of the exhibits. There are videos playing, paraphernalia displays, and a few interactive modules. My children (eight and 11) enjoyed their time here. They learned quite a bit about drugs... More

Great place to visit and free activities for children. They even get a badge at the end which was great. Lots to look at and see how the country has evolved. Many artifacts and interesting items to read. Will be back!!!

The DEA Museum is a little difficult to find, but once found, it is small but very interesting. Amazing exhibits about drug trafficking from years ago to present time. A wealth of information on effects of using various types of illegal drugs, how drugs are transported, huge amount of money involved, how drug enforcement has worked and is still working... More

This is a tiny little museum that's actually housed inside of the DEA Headquarters off Army/Navy drive in Arlington. Directly across from the Pentagon. This museum is only open during certain hours and days, and it's always closed when the government is closed. There are many cool little exhibits that explain the beginning of Drug Enforcement in America until present... More
