A touching tribute.

Worth the effort to access this memorial. Photos are only permitted at the memorial accessible through the pentagon car park.

I was so impressed with this memorial. It is extremely somber to visit. I highly recommend doing the audio tour to completely understand all of the significant symbolism in the memorial. Once you finish this memorial walk up to the Air Force memorial, it is breathtaking.

Incredible design which personalizes each individual victim. Stark when viewed in its totality on a cold windy winter day, but up close each bench is a powerful and subtle statement. Each element prompts taking the time to reflect on this unique memorial. Despite the small subtle signs in the vast parking lots directing you to the site, you are on... More

Very Serene place the lights shining underneath the airplane wings at night give it a peaceful look. So sad to notice that some of them were whole families killed because of terrorism

I live across the street from here and love coming here on night time. The green color of water that flow under each memorial gives you that serene feelings.Gls that we can memorialized those who have perished here.

We did a drive by during the day but stopped for a visit at night. It is beautiful to see the lights from the water under the benches at night, very pretty and peaceful.

I arrived here with my family this past summer, having missed out on visiting in winter 2014. We were staying essentially across the street and walked over to the Pentagon grounds in search of the memorial. If you're facing Washington, D.C., on the south end of the Pentagon, you'll walk under the bridge or through a pedestrian tunnel and head... More
