Spent quite a few hours today at this historic site. The views are spectacular and the local ranger gave a great explanation of the volcano from before and after the historic eruption.

This is a must see. We spent over 2 hours in the visitor center, about 2 hours in the learning center and another hour or so at the Johnson Ridge Observatory. There is much to learn here and nice trails to walk on.
