One feels like they are actually in Alaska and not in Washington State. The park is actually as wilderness areas are.🤗

We were recommended this Park by our Airbnb host and we were really pleased we visited. Nice size park that is very walkable. Beach access is very pleasant and the views really quite breathtaking. We met lots of other dog walkers who were all friendly...More

This is an awesome park. As with all places on Anacortes apart from the dog park, please have your dogs leashed at all tImes and pick up after them. Unleashed dogs are a safety issue. Training and voice command are never 100%. Follow park and...More

I love the long walks, hiking trails, and benches to look out over the Puget Sound. Sunsets are especially spectacular.

This city owned park in Anacortes is truly a gem. It is great for pedestrian and bikers, but they also allow cars if necessary. Perfect place for a 2.5 mile hike.

The loop road is a must if you are visiting Anacortes. All the hiking trails are wonderful as are the beaches. The campground is a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of Deception Pass State Park.

Any sites not booked are first come, first served. I would call the site and find out how many sites are left and get the best advice from the staff there. We have had good luck after 2 or so, but are always camped by 4.
