Flaming Geyser State Park is named after a hole in the ground where gasses from a coal deposit escape. People used to be able to light a match and a flame would shoot up about three feet. In the summer, inner-tubers put in upriver and...More

What a disappointment. My family went, expecting to see a force of nature. We saw a tiny flame in a hole in the ground and were told that the fire is a result of a broken gas pipe. Ugh!

The whole place is clean and not crowded, so many trails you can go for hiking. River along the mountain was refreshing to watch. There are tables, benches & barbecue area located at the park. A great place to spend time with family and friends.

This is a great park, with the Green River flowing thru it. You have to stop at the actual geyser, you can light it!!

I’m not sure that they have outlets. Most of restrooms are port-a-potties.
