Took a morning walk to this park, about 15 mins walk from hotel iichi, pass by shop alley, kusatsu onsen hotel (the autumn leaves at entrance was so eye catching!).

Although it was snowing lightly, we have really enjoyed the easy hike. The park entry is free and there is also a free foot bath, so bring along a towel with you. There is also a public onsen, 600 Yen per person.
It's a great place for strolling since mountains surround the area with trees covered in snow at the time of my visit.
