Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I took a bus from Sugimoto-Kannon Busstop and got off at Daigakumae Busstop. I had visited the start of the Kamakura Shogunate and was heading to the end of it.

Hokai-ji Temple was founded by Ashikaga Takauji (1305-1358) after 1333, when the Hojo Clan was destroyed by Emperor Go-Daigo (1288-1339), at the site of office of the Regent of the Kamakura Shogunate, to which the Hojo Clan had succeeded for generations.

5 minutes walk from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu.
One of 7 Fortune Gods places in Kamakura.
No photo is allowed inside.
The area is small and pretty.
Statues and paintings look precious.

Very nice

This small temple was dedicated to the souls of the Hojo family who perished in the fall of Kamakura in 1333. There are pretty gardens and it is noted for the white clover flowers in September. It is easy to reach from the main Hachimangu Shrine.
