The facility doesn't look like the factory from the outside. There is a sign on the building, but the door you go into is not obvious. We were a big group of Danish people visiting the place on our tour round Albanien. It is not...More

Absolutely the best thing to visit in Shkoder. Worlds largest factory of handmade venetian masks. They supply 70% of the worlds market and they are good at what they do. Everything handmade, everything unique

Walls covered with masks of all types. Some to be worn, some to decorate your walls. All claimed to be different. Not cheap but certainly works of art. Priced from €20 to €1500+. English speaking man (Manager/ Owner?) had to leave but a lady helped...More

This factory is one of those small but incredibly important businesses that seem to be scattered around a few places in the world. As much a fine art studio as a manufacturer of incredibly detailed colorful masks, it has a worldwide reputation as the premier...More

I have visited this factory, it is well-known for quality and considering this, their masks are sold from Europe to the United States.

Amazing hand made masterpieces. The owner was friendly and helpful. 2£ per person, so cheap tickets. Worth to come.

Shkodra has a long history of 'Mask Festivals', I think they have it in January, so clearly they have perfected the art of mask-making. You will find professionally made Venetian masks of all types, sizes and prices. I was impressed by the quality, they also...More

It was amazing factory. Whole masks are handmade and creative. Also, they are really friendly. If you visit Albania, you should go there :)

We were tempted by previous reviews, and were looking for a diversion on a slightly overcast October day. A short walk from the church brought us to a forlorn and unpromising factory building. On trying a door we were immediately overwhelmed by an array of...More

I don't think there is any change because it's a factory and people continue working the same hours, winter or summer. In any case, if you're planning your schedulle in advance, it would be a good idea to call the owner... More
