Enjoyable Walk
May 2021 • Friends
We walked around the park for an hour or so, and loved the tall trees, and the beautiful WWII monument. The Cathedral is also right there, and this is a great place to just sit back and relax.

Small Well-Cared-For Park with a WWII Memorial
May 2019 • Couples
A nice park in central Trebinje. Nicely groomed with mature trees an interesting fountain and an impressive World War II memorial. Adjacent to Old Town and a very nice Serbian Catholic Church.

Clean well laid out central park

Quite a lot within the park. Places to sit and picnic beside fountains take in the monument to the fallen from fascism in world war 2, view the holy orthodox church or if you have kids use the play areas or restaurant

Beautiful, well done
Sep 2018 • Solo
Recently the city park has been renovated. There are beautiful tall trees providing shade and green grass perks. The park is well maintained and kept clean.

Towards the south there is a splendid monument honoring the partizan struggle against fascism. Four men and a woman in the middle, united and strong ordinary citizens who took up arms against foreign occupation. At the rear a woman with a gun is depicted with two dead male partizans at her feet. She continued the struggle.

Some of the busts of partizan heroes surrounding the monument are missing. I understood they were deemed controversial and removed. Also the name of Tito has disappeared from all official venues in Trebinje.
