A good city front beach.

We come here now and then and enjoy it very much, there are many good flights into Maceió and many nice hotels and restaurants along the beach, what I don't about it is the smell of urine all over, I think that because of the lack of restrooms, people just pee on the streets or wherever. All in all, it's... More

A relatively normal beach, nothing special by brazilian standards. The barraca we visited had good service and was cheap. Only drinks served. No shower or toalets.

This beautiful beach fronts the upscale Pajuçara district of Maceió. There are jangadas to rent that get you to the piscinas naturais, quiosques where you can get a drink or something to eat, a 5km paved walking or biking path, ATMs, an artisan market, a fish market, and so on. You could easily spend a pleasant day here. The only... More

Unfortunately we arrived at low tide and there was a lot of trash on the beach. then as we walked along we could see a full load of garbage and who knows what else circulating in the waves that were just lapping the sand. i am sure it is nice to sit out here when the tide is out and... More

We saw very very few people in the water, and heard from locals that PAJUÇARA and Jutiuca Beach are polluted because of the city gutter that ends in the sea between those beaches. If you just want to sit on the beach and sip a coconut juice, then it is ok.

Good place to visit, but it is not a must go in this city. It is good to buy some souvenires and do a bike ride. There's some places to rent a bike.

The sea is very safe and the sand is very fine. There are lots of deckchairs available to hire also you can purchase alcoholic and soft drinks. There are lots of restaurants nearby and a wide promenade and cycle lane. In addition the craft market is very close.

This beach was closest to our hotel. It is average at best, and not always clean, later we went to San Miguel dos Milagros and discovered how good Brazilian beaches can be

I went there with my firends and was surprised at the bubbly and and lively range of pepple and options of what to do: want to sunbathe? Fancy a boat trip? Would like to explore the reefs? That ' s the place to be. I intend to go back there, definitely!

Are there a beautiful view? Yes, but several times a year this beach is improper to swimming due of lack adequate treatment of sewer. You can find good beaches on south and north of Maceio, such as Gunga and Ipioca beach respectively.
