Never expected that there would be such a neat and elegant theater in the middle of Amazon jungle. It's nicely built just like ones in Europe, definitely a must see if you are in Manaus.

Don't miss visiting this beautiful theather. The inside part is free to visit during the day and at night it still has concerts and plays some days of the month. Tickets for them might be better to be bought in advance.

This building is very pretty. It was built in the late 1800s, which seems pretty old based on how European it looks. My tour guide was good. His English was decent, but he spoke softly. But at R$10, it was definitely worth the entry fee.

We did not get excited. The museum is ok but worth visiting as it gives some history of Manaus. There is no ticket to visit this site.

The theater was built in the end of the XIX century with all the pieces imported from Europe. It portraits the golden era of natural rubber and all the - temporary - richness it brought to a few entrepreneurs. Amazing.

It is absolutely necessary to visit this theatre. You are sending in another time, when Paris was the model, and Manaus the richest city of Brasil.
