Super beach of local culture

cant beat the warm waters of the Rio Negro , and the convenience of local vendors for food and drink.

That's a kind of place you do go in a hurry. It's perfect to relax and think about life or just relax and see how nature is exquisite in Amazon. A huge amount of water, buildings that would prefer not be there, a structure for shows, but an enormous peace. Go and enjoy yourself!

there is apart of the beach unspoilt with mangroves , bushes etc. which is strongly reccomended. the rest of the beach - the developed one let us say - it is suitable for drinking a caipi sitting in one of the beachbars and watching the people getting into and out of the water.

Wide white sand beach on the Rio Negro. Lovely promenade, bikes, chairs, umbrellas for rent. Many cafes. Not without a little rubbish but overall they make a lot of effort to keep it clean

Went there with friends. They easily found parking, and off we went toward the river as the day stretched into the final hours. Wide open spaces, easily a great place to bring your family, even young ones in strollers. Mobile food vendors were scattered around, and I easily found some from which to purchase and experiment some of the local... More

Considering the size of the Amazon River, it is already an impressive view. Besides that, it located in a highly valued neighborhood. There is a big stage for performances. And the structure around it is good. It has suprised me. It reminded me of Guarujá Beach or Downtown Florianopolis.

This beach is very nice. There are a variety of food places right at the beach. It's a nice place to take a walk. It's busy all the time. Even at night people are still there, but the beach is closed at night. I recommend those place if you travel to Manaus.

It was lively at night and they had a large screen showing Olympic events. At night their was a free concert with samba dancing. Good to visit, it's and hour by bus from the city center.

Excellent place to enjoy, busy but quiet, always something happening but many peaceful areas. Great view of sunsets, many places to drink or snack. My favorite place in Manaus, but I don't know many.....

Swam there with my young son and we had a great time. Befriended a local with a ball and we played catch and pass for an hour or so. Vendors came by with refreshments and were very polite, not pushy.
