Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A wonderful beach, some 100 km away from Salvador, quiet, clean and safe and a paradise for who loves naturism

Massarandupió is a very unique destination. It's the first open sea beach with the calmest waves that I've ever seen. I could stay hours in the water, which is warm! and I found paradisiac areas where I spent time as the beach was only mine. But that's not the only special thing about it, theres a river parallel to the beach that you can walk/swimming through it till you reach the sea. It's an amazing experience - but better to go with a local person. There's also the whitear dunes I've ever seen, and you can walk/climb it and experience amazing views and astonishing sunsets. There's also a naturist beach on the right side of the beach. And there're quiosques that serve food and drinks along the beach. The beach is about 5-8 minutes by car from the village where the houses and b&b are, but if you like walking it'll take you around 25-30 minutes through a very nice landscape. The village is around 90km from Salvador, the capital of Bahia, but when you're in this paradise it seems you're much further from any urban centre. I love this spot on Earth. And I hope you like it too.
