If there are any events - it is there. Along the praca you can try some local food. Amazing view for the ocean!

On the square on the opposite side to the Cathedral and close by to other churches. There is usually a small daily market on the square adjacent the fountain.

I was very impressed by the old part of Salvador. I loved the vibe, the colours, the shops and people and Pravda de Se is the heart of the old city, lots of interesting churches and landmarks. Great

Situated in the old, historical part of the city - Praca da Se is a smallish square consisting of water fountains, street vendors and market stalls and on occasion, a variety of eccentric and lively, local dance performances. Nice place to just sit and relax, watching the locals as they go about their day to day activities.
