Wild way to get there, about 1 hour jeep or another 4-wheels driving car, with lot of sand bumps, crowds of vehicles coming and going.
Although a beautiful view along plenty and high dunes, taking your attention.
The place itself also full of people by the lake beach. If you want a separate (not crowded) spot you must pay extra (kind of overrated) tax.
The water is nice, deserves a bath (warm, soft and clean, not salty). Food just ok.

Lagoa Paraíso is worth a visit, without a doubt. I just don't think it's ride no. 1 of Jeri. We went to the Nova Esperança Restaurant, we arrived at 11:30, we left at 4:30, but at 3:00 we walked to Alchymist and stayed there for the last hour. My tip is if you're going to spend a few hours at Lagoa, even if you're going to have lunch there, I'd go to Alchymist, but because there's an infrastructure of toys there (like Faustão's Olympics in the water) which is already included in the entrance fee, it's really cool for adults and children aged 7 and over... worth the fun. Around here they say it's very expensive. In fact, food prices are similar to Nova Esperança, like R$140.00 for a couple to have lunch. The really expensive thing is the alcoholic drinks. Yes, you have to calculate the entrance too... but like I said, I would go to Alchymist if it's just one place in Lagoa

Wonderful lagoon, it looks more like the sea… it even has waves! Crystal clear and warm water!

The only difficulty is the transport to get there... if you want to go straight there without taking tours you will spend 60.00 per person (round trip). And it's the only way to spend less... that is, my family of 4 just to go there every day spent 240.00 per day just on transport.

Once there, another 20.00 per person and 10.00 half price to enter the restaurant we were on the beach... (the best in my opinion, so much so that we went to the same place every day... CARAÚBA)

In other words, beautiful but prepare your pocket.

To begin with, you’re not visiting the lagoon, which is pretty and mostly wild landscape, but a resort where you pay an entrance fee of around $7 after queuing for a few minutes under scalding sun. The place has a VIP area (another $20) from where a DJ blasts disco music to the whole area, which combined with the cacophony of shouts and splashes make the experience unbearable. There are hammocks on the water, which are used by instagramers to pose for pictures. Even though it is a closed space, expect to be bothered by street vendors several times, offering from swim wear to sea shells. Drinks and food are exorbitantly expensive (like 3x the price elsewhere).

I went to the Full Moon tent, towards the end of the afternoon. The Lagoon really is everything it says it is, beautiful, worth the trip for anyone visiting the entire Jijoca region. But I don't think it's worth it if the objective is just to visit the lagoon. It's beautiful, but the bath is the same as any other closer to Fortaleza.

It's a beautiful place, a delight to spend the day. But I think it really depends on the restaurant you stay at. We stayed at the B&B house and it was wonderful. You need to make a reservation there, you don't pay to enter, but there is a minimum consumption if you don't have lunch. The place is super quiet, doesn't play music and you can't bring speakers, so you only hear the sounds of nature and people enjoying themselves. I loved it, it was exactly what I wanted. But there are other restaurants with music and more people for those who like it. The food was incredible, generous portions. Snacks and drinks by the Lagoon are also very good.

We planned to stay over night in Paraiso and take a ride to Jeri next day. But if you like good vibes, more vivid night life, I would recommend to go to Jeri straight away. You can find those transfer service people on arrival to Jijoca, transfer cost 30 reals for a place in pick up van, or 180 reals for the private car. Parking your own vehicle cost us 15 reals per night

Beautiful, but n for us who love tranquility and escape the hustle. Mto full (look like famous water parks). The VIP area is paid the part, in addition to the entrance. The inflatable toy is cool (seems to be) with a queue around 30min. The food is quite expensive, but very tasty. N would return due to the number of people.

The place is fantastic, full of places to go, but getting around is difficult, as access is via sandy roads, sometimes very bumpy. But it depends on your level of adventure. As we traveled with children and "pregnant" it made it a little difficult.
On the main beach the water is not so calm, even with the presence of surfers, the lagoons are a good place for swimming. But in most cases you need to pay high prices for access and consumption.

The lagoon is beautiful, with transparent waters and nets inside it. There are several kiosks around with drinks and food. The lagoon is not within the village of Jericoacoara, it is a few kilometers away. But there are many tours that leave the village and go to it. It's very worth knowing. It's a great tour.
