Very nice place for an easy walk. The trails were very wet the day I was there, but I was still able to walk a bit, listen to the birds, and enjoy the spring day. There are benches to rest and take in the scenery.

Did not see much of wildlife today. A couple of areas on trails were covered with a few inches of water and lots of muddy spots but a cloudy, breezy, slightly cool day was a nice time to be in the woods. This is not...More

Many good features and more to come. Micro grid ingenuity. Looking forward to see the finished product in a few months. Great to see this in the Appleton area.

I had a couple of hours to go for a walk as my wife swam at our hotels pool with my kids. I didn't experience any of the facilities outside of the trails, but it was a very nice trail system.

There's a great viewing area to watch different varieties of wild birds at the feeders. We laughed at the antics of the squirrels and the chipmunks running around. A great place to wander thru nature with the kids.

This preserve is surprisingly big for being just 15 minutes away from downtown Appleton. It's beautiful all year round and a quiet spot if you need some solitude. The paths are not terribly difficult to navigate, so you don't need to be an extremely fit...More

My husband and I went hiking here a few times and the trails are very nice. There are short and longer trails so you have your pick as to how much time you have or level you are at.

They have a great hiking path that goes through the whole park with some hills, but otherwise flat. They have multiple places to have a picnic or just to rest also. My favorite place there is the pond. In it are many many many turtles,...More

They have some small ponds there but I do not think you are allowed to fish nor would there be a ton of fish in there. There are lots of frogging opportunities though if you are looking for a kid activity. Maybe give them a... More
