This is a very nice park and memorial for our country's veterans. There are walkways, trees, memorial statues, places to sit and reflect. Much is contained in a shorter walkway area, but you can walk further if you wish to. It is just a lovely place and was well thought out.

We enjoyed our visit. The lay out of the park was extremely unique. The conflicts of our nation are set out as gardens and you get a visual idea of how long our nation's conflicts/wars took place. Truly a beautiful and educational experience for the whole family.

A great reflection of past wars. Tastefully done, pulls on your heartstrings. Great park area also with an outdoor pool.

This park is a stunning hidden treasure in small town Wisconsin. The founders and keepers of this park should be proud of the work they've done. Great venue for the Ashley for the Arts event.

This year was a all time high for me . 3 days of various types of entertainment for $10 . Most of the proceeds are given to the arts programs . The total amount of time I spent listening and looking at wonderful music and creative displays of various types . The only thing was having trouble with lodging and... More

We recently visited Wisconsin and travelled to Arcadia. Do not miss this memorial park - extremely well done and impressive! It is a really impressive experience to walk the trail, which represents the U.S. history of armed conflict. The length of the markers corresponds to the length of the war or conflict, making this a very visual experience. The park... More

Set in the middle of western Wisconsin in the little town of Arcadia sets one of the most impressive military memorial parks in the United State. This large outdoor park, loaded with statues and informational signage is the brainchild of Ron Wanek, president of Ashley Furniture, headquartered in Arcadia. This is a destination worth making.

This place is beautiful. It is situated on land purchased from my husbands family. It is beautiful. The bricks and benches are interesting to read who they are dedicated to. Our family has a bench and its nice to go see it from time to time (more upbeat than visiting the cemetery!) It is laid out nicely and its really... More

Hidden in a small town in scenic bluff country. Many people in the area don't even know it exists, although word of mouth is spreading. Funded by the hometown Ashley Furniture Corp., this park is the best of it's kind in the Midwest, if not outside of Washington, DC altogether! Locals come here for the pool, sports fields, and pavilions... More

Arcadia's not even 3.000 people, but it's the corporate home of Ashley Furniture. The people who run the company were instrumental in creating this remarkable monument to U.S. military endeavors. Stroll from one end of the walk to the other and you progress in time, viewing monuments (statues) commemorating the war of independence on up! Beautiful statues; nice write-ups for... More
