We were fortunate enough to catch the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the Caixa Cultural which really is worth a visit. Entrance is free and the exhibition includes other women artist of the period.

The 24 stained glass windows represent each of the Brazilian States. For example fisherman represent the state of Rio Grande do Norte and a woman darning a fishing net surrounded by the blue sea is the feature for the state of Alagoas. The Rio de...More
