About
Snorkeling in crystal clear waters! The ecotourism operation at Recanto Ecologico Rio da Prata follows the principles for sustainability. The tour is developed within a RPPN - Private Reserve of Natural Heritage. Elected the Best Tourist Attraction of Brazil in 2008 and 2009 by readers of Brazil's most respected Travel Guide - Guia 4 Rodas, the ranch also received awards for its environmental projects and social responsibility. Main tour: Trail and Snorkeling. After the tour a regional lunch is served. Optional tours: Horseback riding, Birdwatching and Scuba Diving.

The horse riding is highly recommended!!

The floating was great as everyone has commented before.
But horse riding is definitely the highlight of the trip and totally worth the extra fee!!
Bruno was our guide and he showed us around half of the farm in one hour. It’s not only riding the horse which were calm and energetic— it was also including the history and functionality of the farm which was eye opening.
Highly recommend this to everyone!

Everyone of the staff is very friendly - also english spoken guide ! Food is excelent ! We were a group of 2 ditchs 3 english and one brazilian ! All very bery happy here !!! We sirely recomend it!

Snorkel Down the River

Don't miss this! They are extremely organized and give you everything you need (wet suit, water shoes, snorkel) to float and snorkel down the river in a small group with a guide. This is so much better than snorkeling with a bunch of people in a bay where you keep bumping into each other. Here you go single file down the river and you feel you are all alone with the fish and their environment. The water is crystal clear and you can see for forever. At the end, you are served a delicious hot lunch and have time to lie in the leather hammocks. We were in the Bonito area for 5 days, and this was our favorite day.

The experience of fishes seeing is worth every effort

Be aware that the road from bonito is in terrible shape. The driver needs to go slow and pay attention to every part of it.

World class!!!
Rio da Prata is a world class experience. Great attention to detail on the sustainability. Super friendly staff and genuinely proud of what they do. The nature is exuberant. Food is delicious. The horseback riding with Eliton is a treat. The horses are very well taken care of and Eliton is very patient with everyone. Congratulations to the Rio da Prata team!!!

A must go
Rio da Prata! A must go place in Bonito! I would definitely recommend it. This is my second time and I would do it again!!!!
