Unique tour, sensational organization, well trained guides who give you interesting information about the nature of the place. When you get to the river and embark on the boat, wow, it is another world experience, super fun when the boat runs against the river, the shock of the skull and the waves splashing water all over the boat, super cool.... First: The jeep trip through the forest. Guide rattled off tree/plant names. We had no idea what he was talking about and he seemed to be doing it by rote like an automaton. Second: the speeding zodiac ride under the falls (3 times) was worth it. Bring a change of clothes. There are lockers.

We decided we wanted to see the Igauçu Falls up close and what better way than a boat ride. Didn't realize we would go right underneath and get drenched, but a lot of fun was had. Enough speed and rapids to be adventurous and thrill seeking. What a beautiful sight those Falls are. Our boat driver was very skilled and... More

We were looking for a nice boat trip along the Iguacu river and the only thing we could find online was the Macuco safari "get drenched under the falls" tour. We asked at the tourism desk in our Foz hotel and all they had to offer was the Safari. When we got to the park (Brazil side), there was a... More

It is an awesome way to see the Iguassu falls. All the employees are very kind. The boat doesn´t go at the Garganta do Diabo, but it goes down of some smaller falls that is very nice the same way. Bring a set of clothes and towel to change after the ride because you will be totally wet. They have... More

Macuco Safari is the only company offering Zodiac rides on the Brazilian side of Iguazu River. It is the only operation that allows the physically challenged to participate as there is a funicular down to the boats on the river. There is a similar operation on the Argentine side but that one involves climbing and descending to the river. I... More

If you want a complete view of the Iguazu falls , then it is only done by the Macuco safari . It takes you into the forest by a cab ride which is approx 15 minutes and you can take a trail by walk into the forest for 600 meters and reach the boat for further ride to the falls... More

Great history about the local fauna and flora but the highlight is riding a boat up to the falls. You can choose wet or dry ride. Pic the wet one!

Definitely fun! I decided to go because it cost about the same as walking the trails (so ridiculous) and it seemed better to spend the money on the boat trip. The drive through the woods was mediocre, the guide stopped 2 or 3 times to give us info about a few plants we saw. Then we walked about 1.5km on... More

We booked the tour through the Belmond Hotel, where service and personnel are excellent; the more we were disappointed by the quite senseless tour - I agree with the critics asking "why" - the boat ride itself is great fun, but the rest is dull and not interesting; the staff is completely uninterested in what they are doing or in...
