Forest Experience is an encounter held in the forest of Parque das Aves, at night, around a campfire, with the Guarani-Mbya, inhabitants of the village Jacy Pora, located on the other side of the Iguassu River in Argentina. In this meeting, the Guaranis hold the welcome ceremony, which involves dancing, a traditional dinner shared with them and the tobacco ceremonial.

We arranged our backstage tour through the concierge at the Belmond. We loved it! The tour started in the Vet's area with the opportunity to see a baby flamingo and a parrot training session. Best part of the tour was feeding the flamingos and scarlet ibis. Quite messy but loads of fun. At the end of the tour you are... More

My 2 year old daughter loved this place more than the waterfalls in the area and we were glad we spent time there. There are a couple large open aviaries where there are toucans in one and macaws in the other as well as other cages with unusual birds. It was a nice change of pace from the waterfalls and... More

I did the backstage experience tour, which cost R$200 reais per person. It's expensive for Brazil, but not expensive compared to similar tours in the US. I really enjoyed the tour. I had the opportunity to meet a baby flamingo, feed flamingos and ibis by hand, feed toucans, observe a parrot training session, and enter into the area with the... More

The bird park has a lovely variety of birds and sufficient information about each. I especially enjoyed the walk through aviaries and getting close to the noisey macaws and magical toucans.

It is a short walk from Brasil's National Park. Ticket is expensive but worth paying. The place is huge and you get not only to see amazing birds, but also amazing plants. The people working in the park know a lot about birds too!

Well done park taking care of recovering or injured birds and animals. Toucan's 1 meter away from you, excellent aviary, butterfly house, and the effort to keep things natural ended up having us spend more time than we originally thought we would!

Normally sceptical about attractions so close to something world famous like Iguazu Falls, I went to the bird park with low expectations. They were blasted out of the water by this place. The birds were beautiful and the work the park does is fantastic. At BR $40 per person its a really good price too.
