Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful beach, but the ceni tent is terrible. Don't sit in the green chair tent. It was just me and my mother, they didn't make half a portion of anything...so we ordered a portion of shrimp with garlic and oil for 140.00 reais, I swear to you, there were only about 12 shrimp and underneath it was full of heads to pretend it was big. We asked to make half a portion of the pastry which was 8 and there were 2 of us so we asked if it could be 4 and they didn't do it...I thought it was really bad and the shrimp wasn't even good

The beach is small, but the landscape is very beautiful. I recommend going early to enjoy and take photos with few people.
There is an area with umbrellas where it is consumed. And another one that provides shade under the trees is the option if you don't want to pay to eat under the umbrella.
There are street vendors selling empanadas (not like the Argentinian ones) and corn.
There is room for kayaking.
Important: there are no bathrooms. You can try to go to the restaurants that are just off the beach and they may charge you. We prefer to eat out there.

I loved this beach! It is small, has in its extension some trees that give shade therefore no umbrella is necessary. The water was the coldest that touched us but the color of it is beautiful. The contrast with the stones and green make it beautiful! Get on the stone that is on the left and take Instagrammable photos and has a breaker on the other side with beautiful turquoise waters. We did the kayak ride and could see turtles swimming around us. we loved it!

There are no words to describe the paradise that this beach is!
Calm, warm, beautiful water!!
If you want to relax in Búzios, go to Ferradurinha!
They charge for parking, outside of high season it might be more affordable, but it's well worth it.

The beach is very beautiful and excellent for children.
The problem is that there is no way to park your car near the beach and the parking prices are absurd.
I suggest you take food to get you through the day as the meals are of poor quality and the staff and owners are very rude.
We had a bad experience!
I do not recommend!

This beach was my second fav beach just behind Joao Fernandinho because it was exotic and stunningly beautiful. The water was so beautiful and was crystal clear. The rocks were climbable and some people were jumping off certain spots into the water. I climbed down one area and swam back to shore. We rented a stand-up paddle board for cheap and paddled to the hidden beach on the side of the rocks. On the way, we managed to see 3 sea turtles. They love to eat red algae which is located all over on the sides of this beach. The water was calm and many families were swimming, kayaking, and paddle-boarding. The service was great, but the credit card machine wouldn't work because there was a bad signal. So, bring cash if you want to eat and drink. We ordered a seafood platter which was fried and I was a little disappointed. But, that was my fault for not asking. The other platters we ordered at the other beaches were grilled. I was drinking capirinhas (which were delicious) and forgot to ask if the food was fried. But, they gave us a lot of food and we never waited for a drink. It was busy for a Wednesday, but after 1 PM the beach cleared out quite a bit. We found that many people beach hop. So, the afternoons were always more fun and less crowed at all of the beaches including this one. We will def go back here. We enjoyed the people and the exotic and gorgeous water.

No waves, not dangerous, rocks you can walk on. We went late in the day, to avoid the crowds. Worked out beautifully!

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL place I have ever been in. Absolutely gorgeous place, hard to drive into since it is so small, but it is a bathtub with waves crashing on one side and a perfect still water area on the other side of these rocks, A MUST SEE...

Probably the best beach in buzios. It's small and gets busy so get there early on weekends. Got some great pics so be sure to take your camera. Just keep your eye on your gear if you leave it unattended
