If you are going to Rio, Buzios is a must. Yes, the beaches are OK and all that, but it's the promenades and eateries I like. It isn't pristine, but rugged attention to detail that is so interesting. Street benches made from all different materials, artworks in themselves. Stone roads paved with odd pieces of rock, easier yet more appealing... More

A quick walk is enough. It comes to life at night with lots of bars, restaurants and nightclubs. High end stores during the day.

This quaint little street is the shopping and eating center of Buzios. Packed with people at night, just do not try anything before 11 AM.

I went twice to Buzios and once to Cabo Frio. The best part is the boat cruise that leaves from the pier near Rua das Pedras. The boat goes around the harbor hoping from pristine to pristine beaches with espectacular views, nature at its best. The guests can go swimming, be careful very deep waters. It made a final stop... In the evenings, strolling the Rua das Pedras up and down is a must. Compare restaurant menus, go to the pier, have a pre-dinner drink in any of the bars that plays your kind of music (the whole gamut is covered), and choose ANY of the restaurants as all are very good. We ate in six different restaurants, chosen along... More

Go at night, to see people, to walk, mainly to eat. Have a loooooot of options. The prices are high, like all the city, but if U came here, have a good time!

This is the place where everybody is strolling around, in the evening dress up a bit, enjoy a drink or dinner outside. You will notice that nearly everybody working in the restaurants is from Argentina. This is because over 4000 Argentinian are living permanently in Buzios.
