The experience was horrible, the beach was very dirty, with several bags and bottles floating in the water, the access to the beach was also full of rubbish and dangerous, especially for people with reduced mobility, everything looked a little dirty, and to make matters worse the harassment from an Argentinean who made our experience even worse. As soon as we arrived at the beach, we were approached by him and he informed us that we wouldn't need to pay for renting chairs or umbrellas, that they didn't rent these objects there, we just had to consume a "little something", a snack and we could stay. We decided to stay, we ordered a juice and coconut water and stayed, until we decided to leave after about 3 hours, and he came in an aggressive tone saying that we had to eat something, that otherwise we would have to pay 50 reais for the chairs and more the consummation. He found us, said that we acted in bad faith, and all the friendliness from the beginning truly showed that it was at the time that we said that we would not have lunch on the beach. The price was extremely expensive and it didn't seem like there was any hygiene in the preparation. We only stayed in the tent because he insisted and said there would be no minimum consumption.

Finally, my boyfriend paid what was fair and he sat there grumbling.
I will never go back to this beach again, and I recommend that you avoid falling for the talk that you can use the chairs without having to have lunch, in the end you will get angry and be coerced. I was very scared, it attacked my anxiety attack, it totally ruined my trip.
Avoid it, it's not worth it. Azeda beach is much prettier, cleaner and has a tent where we were very well taken care of and we didn't have that problem.

Turtle Beach is beautiful! I already knew it, but I noticed that it changed a lot for the worse. In the morning there is a lot of rubbish on the sand, stalls selling drinks and food that do not inspire consumer confidence. Not to mention the arrogance of an Argentine boy who approached us offering chairs and an umbrella and informing us that it was necessary to consume a portion of snacks. We stayed in this tent for about 20 minutes drinking drinks and noticed the lack of hygiene and decided that we weren't going to stay there. This guy who apparently owned the stall said that if my family and I weren't going to eat at the stall, I should leave immediately. "He informed us that the agreement was that we should eat there."
I simply got up, paid for what I had consumed and left without saying a word.
I went to several beaches in Búzios and the only one I had this negative experience was Praia de Tartaruga (unfortunately). Such a beautiful beach.
Note: This guy who offered us the chairs should take better care of the stall's hygiene, be less arrogant and treat customers with more politeness.
In his mind it is not clear that the beach belongs to everyone and that not everyone is forced to eat where there is a perceived lack of hygiene.

Beach run by the stall owners and their employees who are predominantly Argentine. They insistently approach you on the beach offering "free" chairs and umbrellas to attract customers. Some even charge a minimum consumption of R$250 to use the structure... The service at most stalls is TERRIBLE! You feel abandoned by the lack of service (the waiters play football and talk to each other as if the clubs existed) and threatened by the harshness and aggressiveness of the conversation with the waiters...
Small beach with a very short strip of sand which, combined with the installation of thousands of tents by the brothers, makes it impossible to have a pleasant moment, whether between couples or families.
Anyway, do you want to experience unpleasant and tense moments? Good for 🐢!!!
Note: if you are with your family, go to Geriba beach and tell me what you think... Hugs!!!!

I had a bad experience at Turtle Beach. We arrived at 5:00 pm and were approached by an Argentinean guy who takes care of the bungalows with red chairs (Lucas Lippo). He insisted that we stay and argued that there would be no consummation.

We stayed for 20 minutes and he told us that we should eat snacks (extremely expensive and of questionable hygiene) or pay for chair rentals.

We paid and left with the desire to never return.

We went with great expectations since a few years ago we were in Tartaruga and it was fascinating. Unfortunately this time we had a bad experience...there was a lot of trash everywhere and we sat in the second place where there are some orange umbrellas and an Argentinian was serving us. We ordered a couple of mineral waters when we arrived but unfortunately after half an hour we had to leave because my youngest daughter was feeling sick to her stomach and clearly we were not going to stay eating and drinking while she felt very bad. When we stopped to pay for the water, the Argentinian in a very bad way yelled at us: I told you this was for eating! I answer that I can't stay because my daughter is sick... and he yells at us again: then I'm going to charge you 50 reais more!
The problem is not paying the extra 50 reais but rather the attitude of this guy that disappoints with all the kindness of the Brazilians...in fact we started walking to see if we could find a taxi or if we could get a signal to order an Uber and nothing. ..the man who attends one of the parking lots shared with us his Wi-Fi and gave us a couple of chairs while we waited in exchange for nothing.

Unfortunately, the beautiful Tartaruga beach, the most beautiful in Búzios in my opinion, was brutally violated. The city council removed all the beautiful trees that made the beach a paradisiacal place, with shade, infrastructure for families and nature lovers. The mayor needs explanations, he did not respect the environment, tourists and ended up with jobs. Búzios really needs to demand from its representatives before the city ends, the scenario is desolate, it looks like the Sahara desert, it is sad to see draconian attitudes that promote suffering for everyone without a popular voice or representation that can put an end to these, among other abuses that this beautiful city suffering once. Shocked!!!!!!!

I'm scoring 3 due to the exorbitant prices. If you're a tourist, don't even think you'll get a free umbrella and chair. They offer it but "you have to consume it" and for example, a French fry...well fried in oil costs 80 reais!
If you go by car, you will pay 20 to 30 reais to park.

The positive part, warmer waters and ideal for children.

Disappointing tour. Beach with a small, dirty, crowded strip of sand and expensive and bad kiosks. We paid R$95 for a portion of breaded fish that came cold and in a Styrofoam bottle. Near the rocks we stepped on hedgehogs, our feet were very inflamed. I do not recommend.

I will include this beach among the best in Búzios. It is ideal for bathing, especially for those with children. The water is transparent and you can see the fish. I went to a kiosk where to use the umbrella and chair it was necessary to consume at least R$50.00 (in my opinion, a reasonable amount, taking into account that it is Búzios). There are parking lots close to the beach, with a charge of R$10.00 in low season.

You can get by car to the beach. Blue Banner R$4.80 per hour. There is no private parking. Private parking lots were charged R$20 per day. Very good water, it wasn't as cold as Geribá. It looked like a huge swimming pool, as it had no waves. I enjoy the sea a lot.
It has kayak and stand up board. Very quiet beach. Amei!
