Good beach and comfortable

We were lucky and it was not crowded. Also full of beach hunters but at least they offer comfortable chairs and good service!

Just charming beach, lots of green around it, warm and quite waters, with lots of places where to sit and enjoy the caipiriñas. Also you can share your swming with the tortles. To get there is also nice as you can get the "Taxi acuatico" through Rua das Pedras get and unexpensive motor boat to the beach. or a long... More

We tried this beach after a recommendation. We thought it was lovely. Unfortunately it was difficult to hire a sun lounger unless you agreed to have lunch at one of the restaurants. This didn't suit us as we had a large breakfast and wouldn't be eating again to the early evening. We did manage to find one bar that came... More

Tartaruga (tortuga) Beach is a nice mix of urbanised and wild beach about 10-15' from Buzios City Center. You can choose what you want easily: upon arrival, to the left, sand bars, snorkelling gear for rent and kaiaks. To the right, the furthest you go the wildest it gets. You can even pretend you're alone in an island. If staying... More

The rocks around the corner are worth walking to. Great small cave to crawl into. Secluded. Took the water taxi, fun ride and practical. Normal beach drinks and food.

This beach of Buzios is a beautiful paradise of calm and warm waters and coarse sand. The middle of the beach has a division of rocks that are inhabited by a wonderful variety of sea creatures. This place is great for snorkeling and if you're lucky you can even see turtles swimming with you! You can reach it walking, but... More

Rather typical Buzios beach full of cafe's but here they are rather more overpriced with the worse value of all the beach restaurants we visited. The worse one is Bar do Raphael. 20 USD for 15 tiny fried shrimp was a total rip off. Beach itself is nice if tou get there before 9 and get a nice spot.

Ok, it was a nice beach and it was fun getting there in the boat taxi, but I didn't expect the tide to come in the middle of the day so that there was in fact no beach there!!. We're English and perhaps Brazilians or other nationalities like being squeezed in to a bar, but that was not a choice... More
