Nice ride, perfect for going with shool-age children. Site with a marveous view to the neighboorhoods of Jurujuba and São Franciso, with many restaurants nearby.

The fort was build in 1610 when Niteroi was one of the largest and most important cities of Brazil (Rio was nothing). The view from here is great and you can take a guided tour of the fort. Make sure to bring an ID card...More

This is one of several Military forts on either side of Guanabara Bay in Rio/Niteroi. It is a fascinating visit to take in all these forts. Sao Luiz, is just a gate and shell basically but the further up the mountain the better it gets....More
