In the middle of nowhere there is a magical place to stay. The beach is totally calm, you can swimming or just relax.

Its a fisherman village with few houses and lots of boats to take you to Saco do Mamanguá or even to Paraty. Its very nice, but not to spend the day on the beach.

We took the bus from Paraty bus terminal and this worked well. It's not that far but the last part of the road is very rough so it makes for a bumpy ride. We went in the morning and it wasn't crowded at all; we walked along the beach and had a nice swim in the very calm sheltered waters. There isn't much shade but there are some restaurants and one could always buy a snack and use one of their tables with umbrellas.

Great beach and you can get from there to any the other visited places in Paraty, by speed boat, paying 50% less than contacting the agencies in Paraty.

We had over 4 hours in a speed boat with 8 people and we visited few beaches and islands with Lucas de Paraty Mirim - ‭+5524999959135‬. A very lovely guy M.D. made us an excellent deal. At the end he took us to see a seaweed farm, where was full of turtles.

This is one of the best beaches near to Paraty. Only 20km away from the city. Clear waters, clean sand, quiet and safe in a spectacular and open landscape. If you like waves forget this beach. The only negative point is the 6km off road last part of the way.

Bad road, dusty, narrow, very difficult access. Nothing that you can´t see at any other of the local beaches. We went there to get a motor boat to Saco the Mamanguá. If you get the banzay tour, you will reach the same place in a mora confortable way.

The beach is ok, but very crowded. Not worth the long travel there.
Note: I was there on the carneval weekend - might be different on "normal" days.

You can reach Paraty Mirim after a 45 minutes bus ride from Paraty. The beach is only average, as well as the bars. The good point is that Saco de Mamangua is only a short boat ride away. So take a boat from there and let you drive to Mamangua, for either a hike to the Pão de Açucar for amazing views or just for some beach hopping.

This beach is accessed down a long unpaved road. It is somewhat an adventure just to get there. There is beautiful scenery and there are few people there. It is a good place to catch a boat to go to Saco do Mamangua or Saco da Velha. The water is calm and shallow.

Great place for swimming and you can take boats to Saco do Mamamgua'. Bars are just OK... Great for children or people that can not swimm as the water is so shallow.
