Fjord scenery, calm waters, forest, yet secluded beaches, all very unexpected in the area. Very nice day trip (boat ride) as and escape from New Year's eve busy Paraty.

Beautiful place ! I have been there before. But do not call the number you find here if you are foreigners and you don't want to spend 700 reais (about 3 times more than usual)

I spent few days in this area with my friend on the boat. Nice, clean and warm Atlantic ocean, jungle, mountains .. and no people everywhere. Beutiful experience and perfect nature close to Rio de Janeiro.

It's hard to describe this location. When I think of beaches, it envision sand, waves, people, etc. Here you see forest, calm water (as it's like a fjord) and desert places. It's one of a kind, for sure.

Paraty is a town with great potential. But, it has grown too quickly for its own good, and the city hasn't been able to keep up with the influx of visitors. The streets are terrible, the restaurant food is too expensive, and the quality of...More
