Patrick provided us with a fun basic samba lesson- lots of laughs and then transported us to dance club for cultural experience with the locals. Highly recommend Jim

My wife and I an amazing time with Helio for her birthday! Helio made the class very fun and enjoyable and then afterwards we had amazing time at the Rio Scenarium club where we saw a live Samba performance! Thanks for a great time!

We were excited to try out a samba class and a little nervous, but Helios was so relaxed and we had so much fun! The hour went so fast and we came away with some basic steps and the confidence to dance the forro together...More

We organised a private group of 5 samba class for people from age ranging 20s to 70. The teacher was brilliant! He made everyone feel very comfortable and had a great sense of humour so made the session even more fun! We all left with...More

My friend and I did the one hour samba class. It was so much fun! Patrik the instructor was fantastic. I would highly recommend doing a class with Rio Samba Dancer when you’re in Rio!

We wanted to learn a little samba and go dancing, and Patrick and Bea were the best teachers. Great, fun class and then a fun group to dance with in a cool club. Check them out!!!

I attended the class in late June 2015. They took us to Carioca Da Gema (which is also recommended in Lonely Planet). However, they made it seem like they rotated the places based on the day inside Lapa District.

It is a walking distance but never do that. Take a cab, it does not cost much.
